Core Functionality and Data Transmission
Like all components in our NTMS platform, the external sensor captures both tire pressure and temperature data. While the external placement results in an ambient-influenced temperature reading, it provides a crucial indicator for identifying significant thermal anomalies.
Each sensor transmits a secure data packet containing:
- Real-time pressure
- Ambient-influenced temperature
- Estimated battery status
- A unique, laser-marked digital ID for precise asset tracking
These data packets are broadcast at regular, programmable intervals—and immediately upon significant pressure changes—to the central AIoTMining Hub for logging and analysis.
Installation and Maintenance
Installation is a straightforward process of screwing the sensor directly onto the existing large-bore tire valve.
For maximum maintenance efficiency, an optional T-piece can be installed. This practical component allows for manual pressure checks and inflation without ever needing to remove the sensor, ensuring no interruption to your data stream and no lost time during routine checks.
Guaranteed Accuracy and Quality
To ensure data integrity, every sensor undergoes a multi-point calibration process at our UK manufacturing facility. This guarantees a typical pressure accuracy of ±13.79 KPa across the full operational range. Calibration certificates are available upon request for your quality assurance records.
