About Us

TMS® is a registered trademark of Tire Monitor System Ltd, a company with a rich heritage dating back to 1997. Founded by a team of visionary engineers who pioneered the early concepts of tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS), Tire Monitor System Ltd has established itself as a leader in the design and development of advanced TPMS technology. Our expertise spans low-power radio communications, electronic circuit design, and embedded firmware development, enabling us to create innovative products tailored to meet the demanding needs of our clients.

At TMS®, we are deeply committed to engineering products that are fit for purpose. We take great pride in delivering solutions that “do exactly what they promise,” consistently aiming to surpass customer expectations in innovation, reliability, and service excellence. Our focus on quality and performance has made us a trusted partner across a range of industries, including off-the-road (OTR) vehicles, industrial machinery, and motorsports.

Our Journey

  • In March 2023, A M Bromley Ltd rebranded as Tire Monitor System Ltd, marking a new chapter in our company’s evolution.
  • In 2022, LFJ Investments Ltd acquired A M Bromley Ltd, further strengthening our resources and capabilities.
  • Over the years, A M Bromley has continued to innovate and expand its product offerings specifically for the OTR and industrial vehicle markets.
  • In 2015, we introduced a major update to our operator interface, enabling users to monitor up to 8 axles and 16 wheels simultaneously, enhancing vehicle safety and operational efficiency.
  • Back in 2009, we launched an operator interface that allowed TMS® to function as a standalone tire pressure monitoring system, broadening its application across various vehicle types.
  • Our mining truck development program began in late 2007 in Chile, focusing on robust and reliable systems suitable for the harshest mining environments.
  • In 2005, TMS® entered the OTR market in collaboration with Bombardier Transportation and Rubber Tire Gantry cranes, marking a significant milestone in product application.
  • A M Bromley acquired the TMS® brand in 2003 and quickly established a presence in the Formula 1 racing sector. Over two years, TMS® systems underwent rigorous testing under extreme race conditions, enduring severe shock, vibration, and temperature variations, proving the system’s resilience and precision.
  • The very first TMS® prototype was featured on the popular UK television program “Tomorrow’s World” in the 1980s, showcasing the pioneering nature of our technology.
